Big Tree

Just nominated what I think is the Largest Cottonwood ( Fremontii Poplar) tree in the nation 505 points (12' in diameter). It is in Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. I discovered the trees last year during a hike. Jenni and I went back there during the Thanksgiving break and measured it. It is a giant among all others I have seen. Check it out! You can get details of the nations biggest trees at americanforest.com

  2. HI Mike, my name is Belinda Peck, my husband Lance and I are owners of Forgotten Woods LLC. You fairly recently did some demonstrations at Outlet Tools in Atascadero CA. Our shop is practically right around the corner from Outlet Tools. We could not attend your demonstrations, and also regret you did not have the opportunity to swing by to visit our shop. If you are ever in the area again we invite you to stop by. With your great interest wood identification and rare plant species we are certain you would find Forgotten Woods LLC very interesting. Great site, thank for sharing your generous wealth of knowledge.
